Feliway Diffuser

When a cat feels safe in its surroundings it rubs its face on furniture, in the corners of walls and elsewhere leaving behind what are called facial pheromones. These convey a feeling of calm, well-being and absence of stress.

Stress: changes in the cats environment e.g. trips to the vet, moving house, new arrivals in the house or neighbourhood or if the cat is scared then a state of stress may develop. This shows as changes in behaviour: excessive grooming, scratching, urine marking or refusal to interact with you.

Feliway Diffuser is a new convenient way of using the facial pheromones to restore the natural balance prducing a state of calm and well-being. The active ingredient is released through an electrical device allowing reaction to stressful situations to be controlled.

Easy to use: place in the room where most of the urine marking/ scratching takes place. Active over a total area of 50 to 70 sq.metres. If more than one room or larger area, use 2 diffusers. For loss of appetite, over grooming etc, use in the room the cat spends most time in. Works for approx 4 weeks, refills available.

The diffuser is fitted with a 3 pin plug designed for a 220 volt ac electrical system as used in the UK and Ireland. It may not work in other countries without an adapter.
