F10 Incecticidal Wound Spray

Germicidal Wound Spray with Insecticide is a ready to use topical, spot-on application spray active against bacteria and fungi for wound treatment with the capabilities of repelling flies and preventing or eliminating infestations due to fly strike.

Fly strike in rabbits and other small pets: 2 or 3 sprays of the F10 Wound Spray to the infested area will usually result in complete elimination of the maggots. To prevent re-infection treat with further applications of the Wound Spray or with F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment with Insecticide as needed. Where the risk of fly-strike is high, following diarrhoea or urinary incontinence for example, use the F10 Germicidal Wound Spray with Insecticide as a preventative control measure.

Directions for Preventative Use: Clean the site as required, ensuring all excess organic matter has been removed, particularly when using around the rectal area. Spray as necessary to cover the area. For use with small animals against fly-strike 2 or 3 sprays (if using 100ml spray bottle) to the rear of the animal is usual. When used as a precautionary measure a once-weekly application is usually sufficient.

Treatment of fur lice: Lice found on small furies can be treated and controlled by regular treatment with F10 Germicidal Wound Spray with Insecticide.

F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment with Insecticide combines the antimicrobial and insecticidal capabilities of the wound spray with the barrier and emollient qualities of the F10 Barrier Ointment.

Post fly-strike: Use to treat the damaged tissue to promote normal healing, help prevent re-infestation.

Open wounds: Use in situations where open wounds may be susceptible to fly-strike.
