Presentation and packaging
A stable suspension of lactic acid bacteria (strains Lactobacillus acidophilus and Enterococcus faecium) and Vitamins in a food grade vegetable oil paste. The product is available in 15ml calibrated syringes.

Recommendations for use
Stabilisation of the intestinal flora in case of diarrhoea caused by feed intolerance, a disturbed intestinal flora after antibiotic treatment, stress conditions or change of feed.

Dosage and Administration
Cats: 1ml per day for 7 days. Place tip of syringe into mouth of animal and dose. Alternatively squirt onto the animal's feed.

Contra-indications
Chlorotetracycline, Oxytetracycline, Tetracycline, Penicillin, Virginiamycin, Tylosin and Carbadox have been shown to be antagonistic to Lactic Acid Bacteria. These are all antibiotics.

Precautions
Store in a cool place (below 150C).
Protect from light.
Do not freeze.
Do not mix with water.

18 months.

The digestive system needs to work well so that your pet stays healthy. A number of factors can upset the digestive system - stress, change in pH (level of acid or alkali), illness and antibiotic treatment.

Probiotics are products containing bacteria which are beneficial to the digestive system. They act by supplying nutrients, help digestion, improve food conversion and lower the pH to make the digestive tract a less favourable environment for harmful bacteria, yeasts and fungi.

Remember that antibiotics kill both beneficial and harmful bacteria, so don't give Provita Recovery at the same time as antibiotics, but after the effect of antibiotics have worn off.
