It acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory to improve mobility and provide relief from sore and arthritic joints. The gastro-protective properties ensure this product is gentle on your cats stomach. Taurine, an essential dietary ingredient in cats, is fundemental in preventing heart and eye disease. Taurine is also an important part of bile in the cat's digestive system. Potassium gluconate helps prevent hypokalaemia, a common diet related deficiency in cats. Thiamine helps prevent diseases related to thiamine deficency such as diarrhoea, kidney disease and polioencephomalacia. Yeast provides a rich source of B vitamins and other natural products. Dextrose is included as a tableting agent, instead of the more commonly used lactose, because many cats are lactose intolerant. Use BomaZeal™ Cat-Pep daily to keep your cat healthy and full of life. Also added to maximise your cat's nutrition Taurine - Cats cannot produce enough of this important amino acid and rely on the diet to satisfy their daily needs. Taurine is easily destroyed by heating and may be absent from processed foods. It is involved in the aetiology of the cardiomyopathy syndrome in the cat as well as other conditions involving the reproductive, skeletal and central nervous system and eyes. Thiamine - Thiamine and other water soluable vitamins in food are easily destroyed by heat or natural enzymes. In particular a deficiency of vitamin B1, for which the cat has a high requirement, is relatively common. BomaZeal™ Cat-Pep contains a full range of B vitamins with a high level of thiamine to compensate for any loss in the diet. Thiamine deficiency produces a serious nervous disease in cats and manifested by dilated pupils and seizures. Potassium Gluconate - Potassium is an essential electrolyte that mey become depleted in kidney disease or in individuals with a genetic predisposition, leading to an insidious condition characterised by muscular weakness and nervous signs. Potassium gluconate assists in maintaining the level of potassium in the diet and replacing that which is lost by the kidneys. Yeast - Enhances appetite and provides a natural source of B vitamins, which keep energy levels high and the coat shiny. Dextrose is included as a tableting agent, instead of the more commonly used lactose, because many cats are lactose intolerant. |
Customer Reviews

Recently my 16 year old cat appeared to be severely under the weather and couldn't jump up onto the bed very easily. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with arthritis and put on Cat-Pep. I was told I should notice an improvement within 10 days. After 3-4 days I started to notice an improvement and within 10 days he was a very happy chappy indeed. Highly recommended.
