CAUTION Insulin requirements may be dramatically reduced with the use of this diet. Dosage ADMINISTRATION It is important to closely monitor the cats glucose levels during the first weeks on Purina Veterinary Diets DM and adjust the dosage of insulin if necessary. Moreover, it is essential to feed the same amount of food at the same time every day. The recommended period of use is initially up to 6 months. As with any diet change, it is better to switch gradually over the course of five to ten days.
