Drontal Plus Dog Wormer - Free P&P

Drontal Plus dog wormer controls all roundworms and tapeworms found in the UK in a single dose. It can be given with or without food and there is no need to change the pets' feeding regime.

Tablets for the treatment of roundworms and tapeworms of dogs and puppies Each tablet contains 50mg praziquantel (Ph. Eur.) and 144mg pyrantel embonate and 150mg febantel.

Worms controlled include:
Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms) Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults). Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults). Tapeworms: Echinococcus species, Taenia species, Dipylidium apecies adult and immature forms)

Dosage:

ONE DOSE EVERY 3 MONTHS

Give 1 tablet per 10kg (22lbs) bodyweight. The tablets can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food. No starvation is needed before, or after treatment.

For the control of Toxocara, nursing bitches should be dosed 2 weeks after giving birth and every two weeks until weaning. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Thereafter, they should be treated at 3 month intervals.

For routine control, adult dogs should be treated every 3 months. In the event of heavy roundworm infesation a repeat dose should be given after 14 days.

Contra-indications:

Do not exceed recommended dose when treating pregnant bitches. Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds. Consult a veterinary surgeon before treating pregnant bitches for roundworms. Tapeworm infestation is certain to re-occur unless control of intermediate hosts such as fleas, mice etc is undertaken. In the interests of good hygiene, persons administering the tablets to directly to the dog, or by adding them to the cat's food, should wash their hands afterwards. For animal treatment only - KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not remove tablets from the strip packing until required for use. Any part-used tablets should be discarded. Do not use after expiry date.

These really are the best allround wormer for dogs we use them all the time, immediate response and thorough removal of any unwanted guests dogs may have on board.you might also like to know dogs dont suffer any side effects. Brilliant for young puppies through to the elderly.
